GOING WITH YOU ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD

WE LIVE IN NORTHERN COLORADO

AND WE'LL TRAVEL WITH YOU

Traveling to an amazing place to say your vows, just the two of you. How much more romantic can it get? We have traveled to Hawaii, Iceland, Mexico, and Alaska for our elopements. We would be happy to start a conversation with you about yours, wherever it may be!

ACCORDING TO BRIDES MAGAZINE...

“It’s important to have a connection with your photographer first and foremost, it can also be surprisingly affordable, which is something many couples don’t realize. If I knew how affordable a destination wedding could’ve been, I would have done it myself!”

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

What comes with your services?

As much as you can think of. Our travel, car rental, and lodging are part of the investment too. We send you a few questions, follow up, plan your day, bring beverages, photograph for up to six hours, edit all of the images, and deliver them on a gallery for you to download- all part of the total investment price.

No gimmicks, no surprises.

How much do you cost?

Each elopement is different, however...

A destination elopement within the continental United States is usually around $6500

Anywhere else is between $7500-$8500

These are based on our total expenses, see question #1

Where are you located?

We live in Estes Park, Colorado. Our home is five minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park and most of our photography is created there.

Where have you traveled?

With our couples:
Hawaii, Iceland, Mexico, Alaska, and many of the United States

On our own:
Haiti, France, Italy, Belize, Hawaii, and Canada

Who are these elopements for?

The two of you! If you are interested in bringing anyone else along, that is considered to be an intimate wedding and we have a different package just for those!

LET'S TALK ABOUT YOUR EXPENSES

As a destination elopement photographer team, we have done the math! The investment for a  traditional wedding in Colorado is nearly $30,000.

A two person elopement, even after paying for travel, lodging, vehicle rental, meals, and guides is typically less than half, or around $15,000. Of course this depends on where you’re going. Some places will obviously be more and some less. However, $15k is a big amount of cash to save.

Think about what you could do with that money!!

FINDING THE RIGHT FIT...

Finding a photographer in your area is easy, right? You just google it or ask around. Your friends and family have a network of people that can find you someone within minutes, especially in our connected world.

However, when you are traveling to a destination what do you do? Find someone whose images you love and that can travel with you! If photos are at the top of the list for your needs, find one that cares about creativity, making amazing images, and knows great photography, like us! Instagram is usually the “go-to” for people finding a photographer. The hashtag #destinationelopementphotographer will yield many different styles of photos and then you can start to narrow things down.

If you hire someone who is local to the area, be sure to have an actual phone call or zoom meeting with them. It will likely be the final “yes or no” in hiring that person when you have an actual discussion. You can usually tell immediately when you click with a professional. A word of caution, just because they are local to the area doesn’t mean that they are incredible photographers or good people.

Do your homework and find someone who is into the same things you are!

If you were to hire us, we are into adventure, travel, caring for the environment, and being good stewards of what we’ve been given.

BE CERTAIN THIER HEART IS IN THE RIGHT PLACE...

SOME PHOTOGRAPHERS JUST WANT TO TRAVEL!

Be sure that the photographer you are visiting with has their heart in the right place. What does this mean? As a destination elopement photographer team who has traveled with our couples, it’s easy to just want to go somewhere amazing on your dime! The temptation is real, and it would be easy to trick a couple into thinking that “we just want to serve you” as photographers, but really they want to see Greece or Iceland and your day is not high on their list of priorities.

When you hire us…

Your photos are number one on the list and the close “second” is you two!

WORK WITH PEOPLE YOU CAN TRUST...

There are many ways to successfully craft the destination elopement of your dreams. What you should consider is finding people who have integrity, who you can build trust with, who you think you could spend time with, and lastly (but not unimportantly!) whose images are what you want your elopement to look similar to.

WHY CHOOSE US

AS YOUR DESTINATION ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER?

GREAT QUESTION!

Aside from working with over 400 couples, we travel to far away places on a regular basis.

So what? Travel, as you may or may not know, is fraught with hangups. It’s inevitable that something will go south. In our travels, we have had unexpected layovers (for more than twelve hours sitting in the airport), emergency landings, malfunctioning lavatories, missing luggage…you name it and we’ve had it.

This is important because you don’t want to hire someone who is new to travel. They won’t know how to handle it when things get rough, and they will get rough. We’re not being pessimistic, just real.

Airline travel isn’t an exact science and there are very often hangups that can make people panic and lose their shit.
