Five Tips To Get Started On Your Journey!
1. Realize the end goal. This is huge! The end goal isn't to get away from family and friends or forego the "venue wedding" scene. The goal is to be together, somewhere amazing, and have the elopement you want in a place that you want!
2. Be kind to your family and friends. They would love to be with you! The ones that love you hold you dear in their hearts and they need an explanation of why you're eloping.
3. Plan ahead for things like flights, Airbnb rentals, and wedding permits. It's not nearly the planning for a traditional wedding, but it does take some thinking ahead and it could save you some cash!
4. Understand what Leave No Trace policies mean. Just because you've seen an amazing place online doesn't mean that it's open to the public or safe for human travel.
5. Don't forget to dream big! This is your day, not your parents, your friends, or anyone else's. You have one shot at this, make it count. Make it big, bold, epic, and full of adventure!
